Today we’re celebrating our 190th anniversary with a festival of science in Berlin!

The DAI’s departments and commissions will be giving short presentations about their global research projects today from 9 am to 6.30 pm. Accompanying this, from 1 pm there will be a research fair where you can discover the world’s oldest trousers, the Archaeocopter, ancient musical instruments, the Maya civilization in virtual reality and 3D recreations of ancient sites. People who can’t be there in person can follow events throughout the day using the hashtag #190JahreDAI t.
