The webinar series „Greek painting in context“ is presented by the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) and shows the fascinating world of ancient Greek painting, from the famous frescoes at Knossos, to Macedonian tomb painting.
On Thursday 4th March 7.00 p.m. (6 p.m. German time!) Prof. Dr. Wolf-Dieter Niemeier, former director of DAI’s Athens Department, talks about archaic Greek wall paintings in the temples of Kalapodi and Isthmia.
