Die stein- und kupferzeitliche Siedlung der Anau 1 Kultur ergab Belege von Ackerbau und Viehzucht. Spinnwirtel weisen zudem auf Textilproduktion. Mit abstrakten Mustern bemalte Keramik ist für diese, in Südturkmenistan verbreitete, typisch.

Dashly Depe, Yzgant, Geoktepe etrap, Ahal welayat, Turkmenistan. 4100-3600 BC. The Stone and Copper Age settlement of the Anau 1 culture has indicators of agriculture and stockbreeding. Spindlewhorls also show textile production. Pottery with abstract painted motifs is typical for this culture, distributed in southern Turkmenistan.
