Seit einigen Wochen laufen die diesjährigen Geländearbeiten an der UNESCO-Welterbestätte Pergamon (Bergama). Die Forschungen haben bereits viele neue Erkenntnisse erbracht und wir sind optimistisch, in den nächsten Wochen über weitere Entdeckungen berichten zu können!
This year’s site work at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pergamon (Bergama) has been underway for several weeks now. The research has already yielded many new insights and we are optimistic to report about further discoveries in the next weeks!
New open access paper published by Xun Yang et al. about the relations between long-term landscape development and human activities in the Pergamon Micro-Region.
New paper published! In collaboration between colleagues from the TransPergMicro project and the Collaborative Research Centre 1266, we approached the social ecology of the ancient Pergamon Micro-Region to assess its environmental and social carrying capacity and to gain insights into the transformative potential of land use strategies under changing populations.
A workshop organised by the interdisciplinary research group Sustainability and Resilience in Past & Present Populations (SuRP+) on human-environment interactions and sustainability in the past, present and future societies will be held online on May 10th to 12th 2021.
