Erna Eckstein – Photographic Memories

The exhibition is dedicated to Erna Eckstein, Albert Eckstein’s wife, who was appointed to Ankara as part of Ataturk’s university reform in 1935. Much has been written about his work, while Erna Eckstein substantially remained in the shadows. With this exhibition, we want to blow away some of the dust that has settled over the story of this woman.
