On December 14, 2019 members of the Sudanarchäologische Gesellschaft zu Berlin e.V. (SAG) and the Department of Archaeology and Cultural History of North East Africa (AKNOA) came together in Berlin. They exchanged ideas about cultural preservation, conservation and protective measures, as well as current projects in Sudan. The priority programme “Entangled Africa” was represented by two lectures and numerous listeners. Jana Eger spoke about her project in Kordofan. Ulrike Nowotnick and Steven Matthews gave the current status of their project in the Middle Nile area.
