Workshop ‘Biological and Forensic Anthropology: It`s in Our Bones’ from 26 to 28 June 2024

After 11 years, Prof. Robert W. Mann, PhD (University of Hawaii) is once again holding a workshop in Berlin from 26 to 28 June 2024. We can again expect exciting topics, including fracture patterns (antemortem & perimortem trauma, taphonomic effects), epigenetic features and cribriform lesions on the femur and humerus and forensic case studies of the recovery and identification of human remains. On Friday 28 June, participants can also bring their own cases in the form of skeletal material and photos, which will be discussed together.
