English version below. Der bronzezeitliche Friedhof von Tartas 1 in Sibirien wird seit 2004 von der Eurasien-Abteilung ausgegraben. Es sind bereits über 800 Gräber erfasst. Mit der benachbarten Nekropole von Sopka 2 ist eine Kontinuität von fast 6000 Jahren erfasst. Tartas 1 und Sopka 2 liegen erhöht und ragen bei hohen Wasserständen der nahen Om Flussebene wie Inseln aus dem Wasser.

The Bronze Age cemetery of Tartas 1 in Siberia has been actively excavated by the Eurasia Department since 2004. More than 800 graves have already been dug. With the nearby necropolis of Sopka 2 a continuity of almost 6000 years is present in this region. Tartas and Sopka are elevated and rise out of the water like islands when the water levels of the nearby Om floodplain are high.
